Introducing Note by Note, a music initiative.
Get one-on-one violin, flute or piano classes with amazing tutors for just $10. The best part? It’s all donated!
Why?
I noticed that music programs were being cut in the Northshore School district due to a budget defiency. I was introduced to the violin through one of these music programs offered in elementary school, the school orchestra. Through the school orchestra, I gained a lot of experience and also began to develop an ear for music. Although, not being offered the opportunity to join a music program doesn’t just apply to the Northshore school district. It applies to many more that cannot afford a violin teacher or just don’t know where to start when learning the violin. I’d like to offer these opportunities by offering a series of workshops at $10 a workshop with a free demo class. Requirements: Must be older than 6, must have a violin, and a ready to learn personality!
What?
What will be covered:
Tuning using a tuner
Rhythms
Basic scales
Simple pieces
This depends on the level of the student! We usually cater to beginners and people who want to try the violin before official committing to private lessons.
You receive a KCLS verified completion certificate once you complete 8 sessions!
How?
How: Sign up for a short 5-minute consultation to talk about the level and goal of the student by the end of the workshops. Classes are offered in a series of 8, and the day of the week will be determined during the consultation. These classes can be remote or inperson in the Bothell area. If you cannot make it to a class, let us know 24 hours in advance to get a make up class.. The first class is completely free of cost, as a demo before you decide to invest in the rest 7 classes [$10 each class = $70 in total]. There will be no refunds. Classes are free for families under the poverty line. 90% of the money will be donated to UNICEF, a nonprofit organization striving to provide supplies to children in need. Help us help these children while also spreading music note by note.

You can always rent a violin, here are some places I suggest.
If you absolutely cannot afford to rent an instrument, let me know in advance and I'll try to set you up with an instrument for only class times. **You will need an instrument for practice.
